ECOLE PRIMAIRE SAINT IGNACE PRIMARY SIX IN TRIP STUDY AT RWANDA PARLIAMENT AND UMURISHYO CULTURAL ARTS CENTER
The Primary Six of Ecole Primaire Saint Ignace had a trip study on this Tuesday 11th June 2024. They visited The Rwandan Parliament, the Museum for Campaign Against the Genocide at Gishushu and Umurishyo Art Gallery at Kimironko.
Learners curiosity to know who, when and how to become a senator or deputy was solved after a good digital presentation and an interactive talk held in the two chambers of parliament.
After visiting the legislature, learners and their teachers went to the Museum for Campaign against the Genocide. They learnt how the Genocide against the Tutsi was planned and executed. They also learnt how patriotic and brave Rwandans stopped it when the UN Peace keepers, powerful countries and famous International Organisations couldn’t.
After those two most important visits, Primary Six of Ecole Primaire Saint Ignace got drove the buses to Umurishyo Art Gallery. It was another important moment to learn traditional culture of Rwandans. Tools that were used, Main economic activities and drums beating practice were the main concerns among others.
That trip study helped learners to observe, manipulate and practise what they studied in the classrooms.
